The expedition was a great success, we met all our objectives
and even managed
to create enough attention for the press to cover a
story on the importance of protecting the natural landscape
of Ipoh then to give in to the quarrying trade that
is demolishing the hills at an alarming rate.
I am glad to play our small part in voicing for our
environment. I have visited many other cave systems
in Ipoh after this project and discover many hidden
places and secrets in this area. Now I do at least one
4 days and 3 nights Caving Expedition to Ipoh annually.
